Dr. Martin heads the Council, spending much of his time working with the trustees and other volunteers to raise money. He attends meetings of all the Council's committees and is a leader in organizations related to the Council's mission, such as the Georgia Consortium for Personal Financial Literacy.

Dr. Blankenship is associate director and chief program officer for the Council and associate director of the Georgia State University Center for Business and Economic Education. He organizes and leads many teacher training workshops.

 

Mike Raymer
Program Manager

Mr. Raymer coordinates and conducts special workshops and programs for the Georgia Council including the Economics Challenge. He is the liaison between the Council and the Georgia Association of Economic Educators.

 

Barbara Futrell
Stock Market Game Coordinator

Ms. Futrell has worked with the Stock Market Game almost since it came to Georgia in 1980. She handles everything from sending out the materials to posting the regional winners. In between, teachers call her with questions and problems.
