The generous support of businesses, foundations and individuals allows the Georgia Council [a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization] to prepare students for their economic roles as workers, consumers and citizens. Private funds allow GCEE to provide most workshops and classroom materials at no cost to teachers, and Georgia has one of the lowest Stock Market Game fees in the nation.

The Council raises funds on a three-year cycle and prints a list of contributors each year in the Word on Economic Education.
