The Georgia Council is the Southeast’s headquarters for Advanced Placement Economics teacher training, in cooperation with the College Board. GCEE offers both a comprehensive summer workshops and one-day review sessions. More about AP workshops.

Instructional materials are keyed to the College Board’s recommended course syllabus and prepare students for the AP tests.

High school students who complete the micro- or macroeconomics AP courses and pass the national exams for the courses earn placement in advanced economics courses during their first year at most U.S. college and universities.
