In this workshop, co-produced with the Foundation for Economic Education, participants will look at various election elements from an economic perspective. Does it make economic sense to vote? Who’s really qualified to run for office? Why is there a disconnect between actual economic data and the way voters perceive that data? What do elections cost? These questions and more are answered through interactive lessons that teachers can immediately access and use in class.
Audience: Government, Personal Finance and Economics teachers, Grades 9-12
Materials, lunch, and substitute reimbursement provided.
