GCEE took a group of middle and high school teachers to the Port of Savannah  for a tour of one of Georiga’s largest economic engines. While there, the teachers learned about the amount of cargo being shipped in and out of the port each day, the connection between the port and Georgia’s rail and road network, and plans to expand the port’s container capacity in the coming years.
