Carey LaManna
Stock Market Game Coordinator
Carey LaManna joined the Georgia Council on Economic Education as Stock Market Game Coordinator after 15 years in the classroom at West Broward High School, where he taught AP Economics and AP Government. In his current role, he manages the Stock Market Game program across the state, supporting teachers and students as they explore investing and financial literacy.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Florida Atlantic University and a Master of Arts in Economics and Entrepreneurship for Educators from the University of Delaware. A veteran AP Reader for AP U.S. Government since 2014, Carey has also served as District Lead AP Economics Teacher and worked with the Florida Atlantic University Center for Economic Education as a Master Teacher, presenting workshops on economics, personal finance, and political science.
Beyond his work in the classroom, Carey has helped thousands of students nationwide through his YouTube channel, where he teaches AP Government, AP Macroeconomics, and AP Microeconomics. Much like Hootie, the Miami Dolphins make him cry.
