The Economics of Agritourism at Arena Acres Farm

Join the Georgia Council on Economic Education for a special K–5 teacher visit to Arena Acres Farm in Perry on Monday, October 5. Teachers will explore agriculture, agritourism, entrepreneurship, and local economic connections through a hands-on farm experience and classroom-ready activities.
Participants will learn more about the business side of farming and the farm’s role in the local economy, enjoy lunch provided by GCEE, and participate in engaging activities connecting agriculture and economics instruction. Each teacher will also select a pumpkin and decorate it during the visit.
Space is limited.
Substitute reimbursement, lunch, a pumpkin-decorating experience, and full access to all digital lesson resources provided.
