Greene County Students Compete for Economic Glory
On May 22, Greensboro Elementary buzzed with excitement as students put their economic skills to the test during the Greene County Econ Games. Twelve fifth-grade teams faced off in the morning for prizes and “Eternal Economic Glory,” while five third-grade teams brought fierce competition to the afternoon round in hopes of striking gold.
“This has been such a wonderful opportunity for our students to see just how much fun and impactful economics is!” said Crystal Parten, Greene County’s Director of Teaching and Learning.
The event was made possible through a generous grant from the Georgia Foundation for Public Education.
