GCEE and the Center for Economic Education at the University of West Georgia brought a group of teachers to Magna Industries in Carrollton, GA on November 18th to learn more about MAGNA’s manufacturing processes, strategies and business successes. Teachers got to see how MAGNA uses innovative strategies to produce millions of auto parts that end up on BMW, Chrysler, EZ GO, Hyundai, KIA, and Nissan vehicles sold all over North America. Teachers also heard from MAGNA HR representatives who discussed the skills and attributes they are looking for in future workers.
