The Georgia Council helps thousands of teachers statewide

Post

Each year, we deliver 100+ workshops to thousands of K-12 teachers preparing them to teach economics and personal finance creatively and effectively.  Thanks to generous donations, we are able to provide the following at no financial cost to teachers, schools, or systems:

  • effective professional development workshops that are standards-driven
  • substitute teacher cost reimbursement
  • innovative lesson plans and materials aligned to the Georgia Standards of Excellence
  • research-driven teaching and learning strategies that lead to increased assessment scores
  • challenging academic competitions for K-12 students
  • site visits across the state that illustrate practical applications of economic concepts
